  • The folks of Mobilissimo have done a full review of LG KC910 Renoir, testing its very hot camera and having a look at the handset’s features. The video review is available below, but sadly it’s in Romanian, so we’ll sum all the info up for you, in the following lines.

Renoir is an 8 megapixel cameraphone, as you might already know and we get to see the content of its box, right from the get-go. Inside, you’ll find a charger, an USB cable, a headset, a screen cover, the manual, a stylus and obviously the phone.

Back to checking out Renoir’s exterior, we notice its side microSD slot, audio jack and a couple of keys placed beneath the screen. Next, there’s the phone’s main menu, allowing the user to customize it by using widgets. LG Renoir’s screen supports feedback and landscape view mode, thanks to the incorporated accelerometer, that allows you to use the virtual QWERTY keyboard in both portrait and landscape modes.

As you can see in the video above, Mobilissimo also tested the handset’s audio player, a bunch of games and we also learned that Renoir comes with Dolby Mobile, Google Maps support and a couple of other useful apps.

Part 2 of the review is available below, focusing mostly on the phone’s uber-camera, that’s able to take 3264 x 2448 pixel shots and uses Schneider Kreuznach lenses and a very cool flash.

Manual focus is also on board, together with portrait scene modes, color effects, blink detection, white balance, macro, ISO 1600 and various brightness settings. There’s even an image stabilizer included among the specs, plus a zoom that goes from 4 to 16x and selective focus, plus smile shot, just like in the case of most modern cameras/cameraphones.
