Gresso Cruiser Phone Now Available Featuring a Luxury Design
For the luxury device market the rules that usually apply to technology in general are not considered guidelines and there are other factors to take into account. Such is the case with certain models from Nokia and even big showoffs in the fashion business have started designing their own devices.
The Gresso Cruise is a feature phone but in a luxury case and made with the highest grade materials that the market offers. The device’s fabrication process involved over 16 hours of manual work for polishing the surfaces so the level of quality would rival perfection. The handset is made out of a single piece of metal and courtesy of some special treatment applied to it the manufacturer was able to craft its unique design. The metal in question is Titanium that has been used cause of its unique strength and the ability to withstand any mechanical forces and surface damages.
Hardware wise the Cruiser phone does not offer any special features that we haven’t seen with other feature phones. It has a 2-inch display offering the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and 262k colors. The keyboard has benefited from special treatment and each of the 21 keys has been hand-polished for a perfect feel. The device offers a micro SD card slot for media and supports the Java platform apps. It offers WAP 2.0, GPRS / EDGE Class 32 and Bluetooth 2.0. The Symbian S40 device weights 106 grams and packs dimensions of 121 x 46 x 12 mm. It is able to work with the 900/1800/1900 GSM and it will cost $2500, available on the manufacturer’s website.
