  • You might know Ulysse Nardin as a very famous Swiss watch maker, but this company has now entered the handset business, by announcing the Chairman phone. Known as the “luxury hybrid smartphone”, the device features a 2.8 inch multi-touch display and a fingerprint scanner that unlocks the screen.

Ulysse Nardin Chairman incorporates a mechanical watch, that will charge the phone’s battery via the kinetic energy acquired with the aid of the watch’s moving rotor. Among the features of this luxury handset there’s Wi-Fi, a 5 megapixel camera, email and an Internet app.

We have no info on the handset’s price, but what we do know is that Chairman will be a limited edition device.
