President Hugo Chavez Announces Cheap Venezuelan Phones (Video)

  • Cheap portable devices have become a trend in the developing countries, specially the ones created by those nations. India is the best example for this trend, since they’ve just recently unveiled a $10 laptop. Venezuela also joins this phenomenon, as its president, Hugo Chavez announced a $14 phone:

    Known as El Vergatario, the cellphone packs an MP3 player, a radio and a camera, it was created by Vetelca and you have to know that this is one of the cheapest cellphones in the world.
