MediaTek will launch the new octa-core processor MT6595 on July 15; comes with support for QHD displays and Ultra HD video recording
As we find out, the chinese chip producer MediaTek is getting ready right now for the launch of a new octa-core processor called MT6595. This CPU is based on the ARM big.LITTLE architecture that means we get four Cortex A17 cores and another four Cortex-A7 cores.
This processor uses the MediaTek CorePilot heterogeneous multiprocessing technology that unlocks the full power of all eight processor for outstanding performance with ultra-low power consumption. Also, MT6595 comes with LTE Category 4 dual-mode LTE that provides worldwide 4G-network compatibility.
MediaTek MT6595 can support Quad HD displays (2560 x 1600 pixels), a camera sensor up to 20 megapixel and H.265 Ultra HD video record and playback. On the connectivity side, this SoC will offer WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, multi-system GNSS and ANT+ for ultra-lower power wireless fitness-tracking devices.
