  • Microsoft has just released the Bing iPhone App, that’s now available in the App Store, after receiving Apple’s blessing. This search solution also uses voice as a means of inputting the desired data you need to find, plus typing is also an option.

The Home screen of the app shows 6 main categories: Movies, Maps, Images, Businesses, News and Directions. Whatever you choose, you’ll be impressed by the animations, specially in the Maps section. Bing for iPhone supports geo-location, being able to pinpoint where the user is and displaying results accordingly.

Thus, if you’re searching for restaurants in general, the first results you’ll get will the restaurants in the area where you are when using the service. Microsoft’s app will certainly compete with the Google Mobile app, as search wars continue and both options are great right now.
