  • Microsoft is all for the cutting cost policy and the latest such move is denying their employees’ reimbursements for BlackBerry and iPhone data plans. The measure also applies for Palm Pre adopters, so that leaves only those with Windows Mobile devices satisfied.

Even if the BlackBerries and iPhones are used for Microsoft-related business, the Redmond giant doesn’t intend to pay for the data plans. Meanwhile, other companies give no reimbursement at all, so Windows Mobile adopters can consider themselves lucky.

Although Windows Mobile 6.5 is a pretty decent OS, it’s still far from being perfect, so Microsoft employees have “sinned” and went with the iPhone or the BlackBerry option. Windows Mobile 7.0 will bring a change… it must, or else it’s going to be grim for MS.
