  • Mio has just announced a brand new GPS phone, the Explora K70, featuring 3.5G connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and an elegant design.

Explora K70 supports quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), tri band HSDPA/HSUPA (850/1900/2100 MHz) and features a 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen display (240 x 400 pixels).

There’s also support for WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and USB 2.0 on the specs list of the Mio GPS phone, plus a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and geotagging. K70 also features a rotation sensor, 256 MB ROM, 128 MB RAM, a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A CPU and a microSD(SDHC) slot.

The handset’s battery last about 4.5 hours (talk time), or 200 hours (standby), but if you’re a GPS user, it’ll last about 4 hours. As usual, we have no info on the availability and price tag of the handset.
