  • We knew that Windows Mobile 6.5 devices supported the new Pocket Internet Explorer, but what about Windows Mobile 6.1? Turns out that the latter will also support the browser, but with some conditions attached to it.

The device using WM 6.1 and Pocket IE 6 should pack 128 MB RAM and a 400 Mhz+ CPU and also its manufacturer should enable the support for this browser. You won’t be able to simply download a .cab file and install IE Mobile as an average app. OR, you can go with Fennec (Firefox Mobile) or Skyfire.
