Avoid Getting SMS’s from the Emergency Service

When the Romanian Emergency Service starts sending you SMS’s, then it’s a bad sign. It’s most likely that they have an emergency themselves, such as that their phone is on fire because you keep calling them on the free emergency number 112.

The new policy there is that they warn the abusers through SMS of the fact that they should stop using the 112 phone line in case there is no emergency. The SMS inbox will be in terrible pain, although phone users will probably feel no pain as a result of the Emergency Service’s measures.

Also in Romania, the first transfer of a mobile phone user from the network of an operator to another without having to change his number has been made. The end of this month certainly brought a lot of telecom changes here.
