You can get achievements in Xbox Live with this title and know that you’ll have to pay $2.99 for the game in Windows Phone Marketplace. That’s another flaw of the title, since you can get it on Android devices for free. Rovio previously promised to deliver the game on the WP7 platform back in February, but the delay was caused by the Microsoft legal team.

We remind you that Microsoft accidentally posted an image of Angry Birds when it launched Windows Phone, although they didn’t even talk to Rovio. Of course, the lawyers came in and did their job. Everything was fixed in the end.

Angry Birds Rio uses some of the character of the upcoming motion picture Rio, like the parrot Blu and his nemesis, a beautiful white bird that you’ll meet in the final level. Instead of the usual green pigs you’ll be facing monkeys in the jungle and trying to free birds from their metal cages in the first 15 levels.

As usual, you’ll use the domino effect to break down crates and blocks, in order to reach your goal. You have the usual red birds, the blue ones that divide into more airborne menaces, the yellow penetrating flyers and the white birds with their lethal eggs. The graphics of the game are better than the one of the predecessors, but the Rio is much simpler and doesn’t pose much of a challenge to a hardcore Angry Birds gamer.

Amazon Appstore for Android launches with 3,800 apps and needs a special application installed on your Android phone in order to work. There’s also the alternative of Amazon’s web interface, that’s provided with a 30 minute Test Drive feature, allowing you try out apps on your handset before purchase.

Too bad that the service is only available in the US right now, so Europeans and folks from Asia, South America and Africa will have to wait some more. As far as Angry Birds Rio is concerned, we’re testing it right now on our iPhone and we’ll be back with pictures and a video.

Angry Birds Rio is made by the famous developer Rovio, just like its predecessors and brings 45 new levels of action, based around the characters and events in the motion picture. 20th Century Fox is also involved in the project, so the game will most likely rock. The gameplay will be kept the same, only with new and colorful characters, as shown in the trailer below.

Keep in mind that there’s also a Valentine’s day version coming next month, so be prepared and train hard!

The iPhone and iPod Touch owners will get to play titles like Heroes Lore III, FIFA 11, FIFA 10, NFS Shift, NFS Undercover for the tiny price and some games were even taken down to 99 cents from 5 dollars. iPad owners will get titles like SimCity Deluxe, Mirror’s Edge, Madden NFL 11, Snood, Clue or Boggle for the same price, with Scrabble going down $9 in the process.

You get to fight orcs, goblins, trolls and much more beasts, as you’ll see in the trailer below. The catchy game goes for $6.99 on the iPhone and iPod touch, or for $9.99 on the iPad.

Also, we’ve heard that lately Microsoft is aggressively hunting for developers, even promising them cash incentives for their work. Is the Windows Marketplace so devoid of applications that it needs such underground schemes?

You can also find the game on Android Market and in case you’re wondering about requirements and limitations, here they are: Android 1.6 or later, OpenGL ES 2.0 support and for now lack of support for QVGA display resolution (it’ll come later on). Already a hit on the iPhone, this game has had over 6.5 million copies purchased.

Angry Birds allows you to control a flock of birds that battle evil pigs, by firing themselves with a slingshot towards structures hosting enemies. Basically, this is a smart puzzle game.

You’ll be able to play 24 levels per campaign, plus 3 extra bonus levels, that you’ll select, so this means you’ll get a gaming experience of months on your handset. Once you choose a map, you’ll be able to select the difficulty level. The game’s animations are fluid and the details look nice.

There are upgradeable units to use and the cannons used in battle can be recycled. You can find Tower Raiders on the Android Marketplace, for $4.99 and we have to mention that there’s a special HTC Dream G1 version and a free version, if you want to give it a try.

There’s a free demo version available on the Nokia Ovi Store right now. The concept of the game is very simple: you capture your surroundings with your phone’s camera and what you see gets displayed on the screen, plus some extra zombies integrated into the real life. You’ll use a shotgun and targeting radar to get rid of them.

You can search for, shoot, chop-up and destroy the virtual zombie integrated in your surroundings and there’s a video below of the title, if you want more details. The game is available only for Nokia N95 phones via the Ovi Store right now, but it’ll also hit the iPhone and Android handsets.
