ZTE C78, CDMA candbyar Offered by MetroPCS

MetroPCS is now selling ZTE C78, a candybar handset that uses CDMA connectivity (800/1700/1900 MHz) and has a low-end specs list. The MP3 ringtones are the peak of its features, among which there is also a 2 inch TFT screen (176 x 220 pixels), Bluetooth 2.0 and an internal memory of 60MB.
ZTE C78 measures 109 x 48 x 14 mm and weighs 99 grams, but the specs list doesn’t end here, as the phone also incorporates a VGA camera, calendar, calculator, memo, Picture ID and Alarm. The handset’s battery is a 900 mAh Li-ion unit, which provides enough energy for 180 hours of standby and 3.5 hours of talkie talk.
MetroPCS operates in California, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, Texas and Louisiana, plus the metro areas of Las Vegas and Philadelphia. The company offers its clients a monthly plan or unlimited anytime minutes one.
