Motorola has just unveiled a brand new rugged phone, the Quantico, a clamshell with a very tough exterior. The shell of this device is made out of rubber, glass, chrome and mesh, plus you have to know that it meets military specification 810F, so it’s able to submerge in water (1m) for up to 30 minutes.

Motorola i465 is a premiere for the US manufacturer, its first full-QWERTY iDEN phone and a very, very ugly device. In spite of the bad looks, i465 recently got the FCC’s approval and we have to say that things can only get worse, since detailed shots of the handset show a really poor battery cover.
