MOTOBLUR Reaches T-Mobile G1, Demoed on Camera (Video)

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

MOTOBLUR is only a testimony to the current trend of creating an interface that messes with social networking features and brings up all the contacts and services to the Home screen. Motorola’s technology is also similar to the one used on webOS and uses Android’s features to the max, so porting it to other Android devices shouldn’t be a problem:

The MOTOBLUR software has just been ported to the very first Android device, the T-Mobile G1 aka HTC Dream. The ROM is in beta status, but it looks pretty good, although it lacks support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This is yet another proof of how customisable and hackable Android is right now and how it can ported from one hardware platform to another.
