Palm Pre was the first webOS phone, but the operating system was so cool, that it was bound to be featured on at least one more handset. This phone is Palm Pixi, freshly announced today and formerly known as Eos.
Sprint will launch this phone, that packs a 2.63 inch touchscreen, a front keyboard and all of that in a smaller format than the Palm Pre....
As you might already know, the webOS ROM has just leaked and the folks of PreCentral have uncovered some pretty interesting stuff in the code of the software. I’m talking about the minibot.sh that mentions 2 different handsets, a so-called “castle” (probably Pre) and “pixie”, which could be the Eos.

The huge list of AT&T announcements continues, as we learn that the second webOS phone from Palm (aside from Pre), the Eos handset is getting ready for an AT&T release in the second half of 2009. This is considered a Centro replacement that will pack a QWERTY keyboard, support UMTS/GSM/GPRS/EDGE and weigh 100 grams.

Another webOS-based Palm phone is preparing for lift-off, this time on AT&T and we’ve just had the chance to check out the first picture of the device and have a look at its specs.
