300 Million App Store Downloads for Apple
Apple just announced this Friday that it has had over 300 million downloads from its App Store only after five months of availability. That’s a pretty big proof of how wrong Apple was at the beginning times of the iPhone, when they were, more or less, against apps.
The company declared that it has more than 10,000 apps in the store. On the lost of most downloaded apps, games and entertainment are the most common ones. Among the most popular ones, there are listed programs like the Internet radio streaming app Pandora, Facebook, and Google Earth.
There are high chances to see in the future an increasing interest also on the enterprise application side, as the iPhone 3G is aiming especially at a business people market.
