IMDb Mobile 0.1, a Windows Mobile App for Movie Freaks
There’s a brand new Windows Mobile app out there for movie freaks to have fun with and this time it’s an IMDb piece of software based on the iPhone IMDb API. Thus, instead of parsing the site’s pages for info, the software will use the previously mentioned API to get info from IMDb. Here’s the app in action:
Keep in mind that IMDb Mobile 0.1 is in early stages of development, but still it’s pretty promising. This is open source software, created by xda-developers member Blade0rz and you have to know that movie ratings are not retrieved in this version, but this feature is coming in the next release.
The app allows you to search movies, TV shows, video games, actors, DVD covers, check out actor headshots, all of that via a finger-friendly UI.
