iPhone Gets Windows Mobile, Praise the Hacker (Video)

October 13th, 2008 | by ThryStan |

Norwegian hacker Erik Kristiansen managed to do what other developers only dream of, that is port the Windows Mobile OS to the iPhone. According to wmpoweruser.com, his discovery was introduced at the MyPhone 2008 summit and you can see the wonderful hacked OS in the video below, in action:

The software is now available in its beta version, running much like Bootcamp. Just bootup the iPhone and choose the operating system you’ll be running. Erik claims he’ll release the software in January, but let’s see if Microsoft or Apple have something to say regarding this “sacrilege”.

What’s next, Android on the iPhone? Or maybe Symbian?
