Pedometer App Now Available For HTC Touch Diamond, Pro and HD

December 14th, 2008 | by Yorga |

After seeing all sorts of solutions that make use of the G-sensor software, there’s now a Pedometer app ready to use on HTC’s famous WM devices. Lightsailpro is the developer of the app, which works on Touch Diamond, Touch Pro and Touch HD.

The software uses HTC Touch Diamond’s built in accelerometer, requires only .NET CF 2.0, allows you to pause and reset the step counter and displays steps, distance, calories and time duration, There’s also the option of using the Hide button to save battery, plus you can set the step length and calories per mile value.

All of the data gathered will be stored in a Microsoft SQLCe compact database and there’s even an audio alarm that will ring when you reach your set distance. Want to test the app? Download it from here.

A great app, although a little sensitive. Just putting phone in pocket, got me 4 to 5 steps.
Maybe it's just the HD with an issue?

Would this app work with The LG Incite?
It too has an accelerometer, and uses windows mobile 6.1
as will as .NET CF 2.0
