Skyfire Mobile Browser Is Upgraded, Available

  • In case you were looking for an alternative to Opera Mini or Safari, know that Skyfire Mobile Browser just got an upgrade to version 0.85 beta and it’s now open to the public. You can download it directly by pointing your mobile browser to this address. Here’s a Skyfire demo, in case you want to take a virtual tour of it before downloading:

    Skyfire v 0.95 beta brings better client and server robustness, streaming performance and easier recovering from lost connections. There’s also a better way of rendering mobile pages and an updated Skyfire User Portal. Plus, you’ll also get content sharing, faster application launch, content download and better battery life on Symbian.
