Spb TV 1.0 Makes Mobile TV More Appealing
April 2nd, 2009 | by ThryStan |
Just as CTIA Wireless kicked off yesterday, Spb Software announced the release of Spb TV, a mobile TV player that brings on screen controls and a fast channel switching technology to the scene. Also, the new app uses intelligent stream correction, provides picture in picture support and offers an integrated TV guide that allows the user to expert show reminders to Outlook.
Spb TV is subscription free and works on Windows Mobile 5 and later Professional and Standard versions of the OS, plus QVGA, VGA, Square QVGA and WVGA devices. Spb Software’s new app comes with finger-friendly transparent controls, support for hardware button controls and it even deals with network bandwidth fluctuations without too much trouble.
Spb TV 1.0 comes as a full or freeware version, the first available for $14.95 here and the second packing limited features.
