This news comes a day after Sony started offering Xperia S owners the Android 4.0 ICS update as well and a couple of days after Samsung published the official dates for the latest Android software’s arrival on the Galaxy Tabs. We knew that the OS was coming to Motorola as well, after seeing various soak tests confirmed all over the USA. The updates have yet to show on the two Droid RAZR versions, but it could come as soon as this weekend. Previously speculations said that June 27th was the date chosen to deliver the update for the Droid RAZR and the RAZR MAXX.

Verizon will pack global roaming abilities into the software, plus some stability and performance enhancements. There’s also better mobile hotspot support, a new lock screen, that has more options, the multitasking system based on swiping apps and the apps/widgets segment with Google Play Store link. Better camera functioning and UI and resizable widgets are all here as well.
