CES 2010: Motorola Backflip and its Original Form Factor Get Demoed
January 9th, 2010 | by ThryStan |
Motorola Backflip is apparently nothing more than a CLIQ clone, at first, but what’s surprising about it is its very cool and original form factor. The handset got shown at CES 2010 and you can check it out in the video below, for some flexible, double jointed form factor action:
Backflip’s 5 megapixel camera can be turned into a vlogging gold mine, since it becomes a sort of front facing camera, once the device is open. Another advantage of the handset is its rear touch pad, used for web browsing, specially scrolling. Thus, you’ll keep your fingers off the touchscreen and free some space for extra viewing.
The new Moto phone is also very much like CLIQ in the specs department, not only in looks, but it’s the original form factor that saves it and could make it a pretty good messaging and social networking device.
