  • The handset we’ve come to know as Motorola Atila, will be available as Moto A3000 or A3100, depending on the carrier that sells it. Before you start partying, you should know that it’ll surface in China and Hong Kong first, so we’ve got some waiting to do.

A3000/3100′s features seems to be the same as before: support for GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity, WiFi, Windows Mobile 6.1 and a touchscreen with a decent resolution. The camera will be the average type: 3.1 megapixels (supports VGA shooting at 30 fps), while Atila’s specs list also includes A-GPS, a 528 MHz CPU, 256 MB Flash memory and 128 MB RAM.

Atila comes with a microSD slot with support for cards of up to 32 GB and a 1130 mAh battery. Expect it to reach Asian stores next month and I can bet it’ll be present at CES 2009, at least.
