Motorola’s Newest Touch Windows Mobile Phone Gets Checked out – Surf A3100 in Action (Video)

  • While touring the many booths of MWC 2009, it was easy to notice that Motorola had almost nothing to show, unless you count the Surf A3100 touchscreen smartphone.

    This average Windows Mobile device gets demoed in the video below, proving once again that Motorola must increase the pace if they want to compete with the rest of the mobile phone industry players:

    Moto Surf A3100 packs a GPS, media player, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and supports 3G connectivity, HSDPA, WiFi, also featuring a 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus.

    All in all, this is a very basic smartphone, that borrows its trackball from BlackBerry Storm, plus a couple of design elements from the iPhone 2G and BlackBerry devices.
