In a story that reminds us of the iPhone 4 prototype leak, we’ve just learned that the Nokia prototype we’ve been seeing on the web these days was killed remotely by its maker. Called by some the N9, the N98 or the N8 with keyboard, this device is shown below and in the video after the break, that portrays its demise.

TechnoBuffallo and Negri Electronics are the two sites that handled the prototype and apparently they’re getting ready for some legal trouble, as private investigators are breathing down their necks. This 4 inch QWERTY slider was seen playing a YouTube video, right before it was proclaimed dead, at 5:45 in the clip below.

What we know for sure is that this remotely wiped phone is a Symbian^3 device, with a very slim design and a potent camera… Will it become official any time soon?
