There’s a new Meizu leak in town, this time one that seems to be linked with a cameraphone of sorts. A mystery handset has leaked and also been certified by Chinese authorities for local use. The handset stands out through the use of a 4x optical zoom camera.

There are two versions of this phone certified in China: M575M and M575U, both with 4G connectivity and packing 5.5 inch AMOLED Full HD screens, as well as 2.3 GHz octa core processors. 3 GB of RAM and 20 megapixel cameras are mentioned too, plus 3 MP selfie shooters, 16 GB of storage and a 7.9 mm waistline. There’s no microSD and the newcomer weighs 147 grams.

Sadly, the Communication authority in China hasn’t released pictures of these phones, but speculations say that it may likely be the upcoming MX5, a flagship we detailed here. That model is expected to feature an unibody metal case and an edge to edge display.
