Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition is a Cheap GPS Phone With Nokia Maps on Board

  • Nokia has just unveiled the 2710 Navigation Edition handset, an affordable GPS phone, with Nokia Maps loaded. The new device will be popular both in rural and urban aresa, plus in developing and developed countries, as well.

    Its advantages are straight line navigation, an integrated compass and turn by turn driving navigation with full voice guidance. Nokia Maps ensures the broadest navigation coverage, specially when compared to the Finnish company’s rivals and new countries are added to improve the software.

    Another great feat of Nokia 2710 is the fact that it can show the needed maps without requiring Internet access, in order to save data plan costs and work in areas without mobile coverage. Expect the phone to retail for EUR 110 and it should be on the market in Q2 2010. In the meantime here’s a video showing the GPS phone in action:
