Nokia Admits that the N97 is a Failure; Promises not to Do it Again

  • Believe it or not, Nokia knows when it screws up, or so they seem, since they’ve just announced through one of their officials that the N97 is a failure. Executive VP of Markets Anssi Vanjoki talks about the ups and downs of the smartphone in the video below:

    Although Nokia N97 sold pretty well, it failed as far as the user experience and hardware quality are concerned. Anssi Vanjoki also mentioned that he hopes the next Symbian version will solve all the problems of the users and the official claimed that Nokia will never release something like the N97 again.

    Too bad that the image of the company was already spoiled, while Android is on the rise and Symbian S60 5th Edition is being ditched for other platforms.
