NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short range high frequency wireless communication technology, allowing users to share content and also allowing secure payments and ticketing transactions with a single tap of the phone. Nokia 6216 classic should hit the market in Q3 2009 for about EUR 150, before taxes and subsidies.

Aside from incorporating NFC technology, the phone also comes with a digital camera, bright display, a microSD slot with support for cards of up to 8GB, stereo FM radio and a music player.
