Nokia N810 WiMAX Kicks the Bucket

  • Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition has just been pulled out of US stores, according to MobileBurn, because of the slow implementation of WiMAX connectivity in North America and issues with its performance. WiMAX adoption has really been slow in the United States, but the price of this N810 edition wasn’t too tempting, either, if you ask me…

    Spending $450+ on a device you can get for $100 less without WiMAX is not something we’d like to do, specially since the WiMAX-enabled version comes with services that will have you spending $30 to $50 per month.

      Doesn’t make much sense when the just-as-capable N810 can be had for $100 cheaper with no service fees
