Nokia N97 Mini Affordable Smartphone Ready for Vodafone Launch?
Now this is new! A post on the Vodafone Ireland forums claims that we’ll soon be seeing a smartphone called the Nokia N97 Mini, available on Vodafone, as the affordable version of the N97 (available for $699 unlocked).
Rumour has it that the Mini version of Nokia N97 will be available through Vodafone Ireland “later this year”, but no details about the phone are available yet. We know that it comes with a touchcreen and a QWERTY keyboard, plus maybe the same design as the N97.
If you ask me, I would guess that the Mini version ditches the QWERTY keyboard and goes with the touchscreen only, making the phone thinner and better looking. We’ll see if I’m wrong… or if this is just a rumour.
