Nokia Point and Find Service Available in Early Beta (Video)
April 3rd, 2009 | by ThryStan |
Nokia details the neat Point & Find service in the video below, a feature that’s available in early beta stage for UK and US users only. Basically, Nokia Point and Find uses your handset’s camera to identify barcodes, cinema posters and more things, providing related information:
For example, once your camera and Point & Find identify a movie poster, you’ll get the latest and best ticket prices, the nearest cinema where you can watch the movie and maybe even a couple of trailers, on your handset’s screen.
You can access this address from your phone to use the service and here’s the list of compatible Nokia devices: N82, N95, N95 8GB, N76, N81, N81 8GB, E51, E66, 6290, 6124 Classic, 6161 Classic, 6120 Classic, 6110 Navigator and 5700 XpressMusic.
