Nokia’s Connecting People Event to Debut in February 2010, Alongside MWC

CES 2010 will be the most important phone-related event next month, followed by February’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), that won’t include Nokia. The Finns pulled out of the tradeshow, choosing to have a private Connecting People event in Barcelona at the same time the MWC takes place.

As you might already know, Nokia pulled out of MWC, in order to focus on the Nokia World conference, so don’t expect anything big in Spain. Also, one might remember that Nokia announced it’ll release 50% less smartphones in 2010 and a single Maemo device, so it should be a boring series of events.
