Nokia’s Not Cool Any More; At Least Not for Teens

  • A recent study has shown that only 21% of teens consider Nokia their favorite brand, unlike the 29% of last year. The huge drop can be blamed on the fact that the company’s new handsets lack the coolness they once had. We’re surprised to hear that, considering the success of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone, meant to reach the pocket of youngsters.

    The survey included 112000 teenagers from 30 countries, excluding emerging countries. Well, I guess they love the Sidekick too much, of maybe Sony Ericsson Walkman has a place in their pocket… or could it be the iPhone?
