NTT DoCoMo Showcases a Projector Phone With Modular Design
November 12th, 2009 | by ThryStan |
The innovative folks of NTT DoCoMo have showcased some pretty interesting devices lately, among which there’s also a brand new projector phone, that’s also modular. Dubbed “Separate Keitai F-04B”, this handset is made by Fujitsu and will probably reach the Japanese market soon.
The phone is able to separate into a display and keyboard unit and these pieces will communicate via Bluetooth. Connect them and you get a device that behaves like a QWERTY slider. We also have to mention that the display unit includes the main board and communication chip, plus the app processor and a 3.4 inch touch LCD.
NTT DoCoMo’s device also packs a pico projector unit (DLP projector with LED source), with a 854 x 480 pixels resolution, 6 lumens and a 800 mAh battery. The projector will be sold separately.
