Opera Turbo Speeds Up Your Desktop and Mobile Browser
February 12th, 2009 | by Yorga |
Yes, you’ve never heard about Opera Turbo, because it’s not a brand new web browser, or a rival for Fennec, as some of you might think. Turbo is a solution for business customers using Opera Desktop, Opera Mobile and Opera Devices SDK, that provides some extra speed while accessing the web.

Opera Turbo is able to compress bandwidth consumption in order to make web pages load faster in Opera Desktop or Opera Mini. This will also work great for carriers, reducing network traffic, but also for average users, who will be able to surf the web at decent speed with a lower end device.
A full demo of the solution will be shown at Mobile World Congress 2009.
