Bell Now Sells Palm Pre; Unimpressive Commercial Surfaces

After finding out that Sprint might move on to a new cash cow, the CDMA version of HTC Hero, we learn that Bell finally started selling Palm Pre, much to the joy of the Canadian public. Here’s the Bell Pre commercial that’s probably on all TV sets right now, north of the border:

It’s interesting to note that all the features shown in this video are also present on the iPhone, so Palm Pre doesn’t seem to bring much novelty, if you’re already an iPhone owner. At least the webOS is appealing, but we have to remind you that the device and all it involves was designed by a former crew of Apple employees.

Also, you’ll have the “privilege” of extra bulking your handset, thanks to a couple of new Pre batteries that recently surfaced on the market…
