IE Mobile 6 Gets Demoed on Palm Treo Pro (Video)
Now this is a big disappointment! If you want to know why using IE Mobile 6 on your Palm Treo is not such a good idea, check out the video below and be stunned by the slow and easily crashable browser created by Microsoft:
The user tested the software on a WiFi connection and found that the browser comes with a Favorites menu (Facebook, CNN, YouTube etc) and it supports Flash, so YouTube will work on it. However, even if Treo Pro’s CPU works pretty well, the browser will have a hard time loading YouTube and it’ll offer limited zoom control.
Search is also done with great difficulty and slow and the browser barely loads, at some points, so this won’t be a dynamic choice by any means. Opera still rules this segment, as does Safari mobile, on the iPhone.
