O2 UK to Release Palm Pre on October 30th?
After the folks in the UK got the Toshiba TG01 smartphone and the HTC Hero, that’s yet to reach the US, the Brits should be happy to know that Palm Pre is coming their way. Expect the smartphone to hit O2 UK this Fall, October 30th to be more precise.
Before the info above was leaked we could have bet anything on a Christmas launch of the handset in Europe. In spite of coming this Fall and not this winter, the device is still 5 months late, when compared to the US release date.
Too bad that there’s no price tag associated with this rumour, but we guess it’ll be around the same amount as the iPhone 3GS, unless O2 UK wants to surprise us all and offer Palm Pre for free with a pretty big contract.
