  • The huge list of AT&T announcements continues, as we learn that the second webOS phone from Palm (aside from Pre), the Eos handset is getting ready for an AT&T release in the second half of 2009. This is considered a Centro replacement that will pack a QWERTY keyboard, support UMTS/GSM/GPRS/EDGE and weigh 100 grams.

Expect the device to hit AT&T for $349 with a $50 mail in rebate and as far as specs are concerned, Palm Eos comes with 4GB of internal memory, a removable 1150 mAh battery that provides 4 hours of 3G talk time and AT&T Navigator. There’s also a Yellowpages.com app on board, a 2 megapixel fixed focus digital camera with flash and video recording, plus Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP.

A-GPS, multimedia playback and USB 2.0 connectivity round up the specs list of this promising “little brother” of the Palm Pre.
