Palm Pre Gets Launched on June 6th for $200: Official Confirmation, Finally!
May 20th, 2009 | by ThryStan |
After a wait that seems longer than the one of the US national soccer team for winning a World Cup, we’ve finally heard that Sprint announced Palm Pre’s official price and launch date. We’re talking $199.99 after a $100 mail in rebate and a 2 year contract, plus a June 6th launch.
The handset will go on sale all across the nation and only in US for the moment via Sprint stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack and some Wal-Mart stores. Pre will be available together with Sprint’s Everything Data or Business Essentials With Messaging and Data plans.
You’ll also get the chance to buy accessories, like the optional $69.99 Touchstone charging dock kit ($49.99 dock and a $19.99 back cover).
