Treos Fall, Dragging Palm As Well
Revenues for Palm will be much lower than those expected, according to the company’s recent official statements. The difference is from 330 million expected to almost 200 million in actual results, which says it all.
The reason is a “reduced demand for maturing smartphone and handheld products,” according to Palm’s statements in a press release. More exactly, the Treos which sometime looked modern and had great functions lost their value when laced near the latest touchscreen smartphones.
As a result, we might be seeing a big struggle from Palm to make up for the lost grounds and come up with a competitive device.
