  • Word’s out that the Korean manufacturer Pantech is now working on an Xda smartphone for O2 and it seems that the new device will bear the name of “Xda Venn”. The upcoming smartphone will support quadband GSM connectivity (GPRS/EDGE), plus singleband UMTS/HSDPA (2100 MHz).

We don’t have any info regarding the phone’s specifications, but, since this is an Xda device, we’ll probably see Windows Mobile running on Venn. These first details were given by GCF (Global Certification Forum), so we’ll have to wait some more, till we learn new stuff about Xda Venn, at least its internal features.
