In mid-July, the Indian company Lava was announcing a new Android One smartphone, more precisely the Pixel V1, a phone that looked great from the design point of view. From what we discovered today, it seems that the Android One program is currently expanding in other regions too, Thailand being one of these countries.

In this location was launched today the Samart IQ i-mobile II, a 5-inch device that offers an IPS panel with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of expandable storage, and a 2.500 mAh battery.

There’s dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, a microUSB v2.0 port and 4G LTE Cat.4 technology that promises 150 Mbps download speeds. This phone launched by Samart comes in the pack with a 8-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing sensor and Android 5.1 Lollipop as default operating system.

Beside this $126 phone, it seems that in Filipinos, there’s expected another Android One phone pretty soon. More precisely on August 10th, Cherry Mobile will launch a device with 5 inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB space of storage, 5-megapixel selfie cam and a 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor.
