After launching the successful Samsung Corby model, the handset maker decided it was time for a follow-up to the popular device… or two. The new models are CorbyTXT and CorbyPRO and they’re destined to appeal to a youthful market and people with active lifestyles.

Samsung CorbyTXT is a messaging phone with a full QWERTY front keyboard, quick launch buttons that provide access to music features, camera and messaging apps, plus intuitive social media uploads. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack on board and support for tons of coloured fashion jackets, that change the look of the phone.

Expect CorbyTXT to land in Europe by the end of September and moving on to CorbyPRO, we discover a slider with a QWERTY keyboard, email features, business functions and multimedia capabilities. The handset comes with push email, Facebook and MySpace support, a 3 megapixel camera, WiFi, 3G/HSDPA and quad band GSM connectivity, plus a 3.5mm audio jack.

CorbyPRO enters the market in November in Europe’s case and will reach the rest of the world soon afterwards.
