Samsung Galaxy Beam is one of the only (if not the only) Android-based Samsung phone that incorporates a pico projector. Also known as Samsung I8520, the phone is pictured below and we learn that it’ll go on sale in Singapore starting July 17.

The device’s pico projector supports WVGA resolution and we learn that the phone is able to project images that are between 5 and 20 inches in size. Samsung Galaxy Beam has pretty reasonable specs, too: a 3.7 inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen, Android 2.1 with TouchWiz 3.0 and an 800 MHz processor.

There’s also a camera with an 8 megapixel resolution on board and support for 720p video capture. Samsung’s projector phone will debut on local carrier StarHub and its price will start from $288, depending on the contract you choose.
