Samsung Galaxy Note Starts Shipping to Europe, Germany First to Spite Apple (Video)
The tablet/smartphone hybrid Galaxy Note has just started shipping to Europe, bringing its 5.3 inch hotness to Germany first. This is kind of ironic, considering the bans that this country has on Samsung Galaxy Tab products, because of Apple lawsuits.
However, Apple made no mention of the Galaxy Note in its patent breach allegations against Samsung, so the South Korean company is safe for now. We remind you that the Galaxy Note comes with a 720p display, a 1.4GHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera at the back and 2 megapixel camera upfront. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is the OS of choice and there’s also a capacitive stylus in the mix, for extra input.
The good news here is that this product will most likely get Android 4.0, according to sources close to the matter. Also, the 5.3 inch diagonal is pretty unique, so this form factor might catch on. Now let’s see a decent price and maybe some decent sales for this product… Before that be sure to check out the promo video below:
