Samsung has just announced a Gold Edition of the Omnia HD handset (I8910 HD), that will come inlayed with gold and a package with special accessories. The handset comes in two color versions: Champagne Gold and Luxury Brown, both adorned with 24 karat gold.
Omnia HD’s special edition package includes a leather case, a mini cradle and TV out cable that enhance the smartphone’s great multimedia features. We remind you that the original I8910 HD model won numerous awards, like the European Camera Phone in the 2009-2010 EISA Awards, thanks to its 720P HD Video recording and decoding.
Also, the phone is capable of connecting to a HDTV via DLNA, allowing users to enjoy HD content on their TV. Live video sharing via Qik.com is also supported and you might be interested to know that the handset comes with a 16:9 screen, dual stereo speakers, up to 32GB of microSD card storage plus an extra of 16GB (internal memory) and a 3.7 inch auto rotating AMOLED display.
