Samsung m850 Dash is a Mystery Phone, Looks Promising

May 27th, 2009 | by Yorga |

Samsung Instinct doesn’t have a true successor, unless you count the Instinct S30, but now there’s an even better candidate for this position: the m850 Dash. We’re dealing with a handset that will be released this summer via Sprint and it has just surfaced on invisibleSHIELD’s website, you know, the company that makes phone protections.

No info on the phone’s specs just yet, but I have to say that the menu on the device looks very much like the one on Sprint Instinct and the handset looks a tad slicker than the Instinct S30.

  • actually, there has been information on the phone long before there was a photo of it.

when the roadmap was leaked back in march/april (?) we got almost all the specs of the phone which have been confirmed by an inside source who is testing the phone.

some features that will spark interest in the phone:

    Capacitive touch screen
5.0mp Camera with HDMI output (HD recording?)
    glass screen
    Accelerometer

these are just a handful of the features of the phone, some of the best IMO. also, its BREW 4.0, supposedly a lot like the original UI, except a few buttons added for convenience.

there has also been another photo leaked which shows the 2 phones side by side (M800 and M850) and shows the difference in picture quality, but I'll let you do your own scounging :).
